Nick's Ice Cream - Natick, MA

Last night was another terrific night of Dominators cruising and frolicking.

Present were Animal and Clayton in the Candy brandy wine Clayton mobile, Brad and Disgustin in the turn-over T, Doug and Mimi in their opulent Eldorado (it's a 48, he told us so.) Rod made it up there in the yellow beer wagon. We also got a glimpse of Jimmy Snow giving the sales pitch to all passer by's as they stopped to make offers on the ' 41 plum coupe. There was a major crowd of players gathered around it and I'm positive he must have had good responses from the For Sale sign. Jim's next rod could be in his driveway very soon. We wish him happy trails and good luck in the next hot rod.

Also spotted were most of the Push Rods as well as Carl. Our prayers and sympathy are extended to Carl, and his son, over the sudden loss of his mom last Friday afternoon.

After viewing the sell out crowd at Riley's the bunch of us rolled over to Nick's Ice Cream in Natick for our next stop.

The crowd at Nicks was almost overwhelming. They had a live singer for our evening's entertainment and special prices on their ice cream. HAH ! There had to be 40-50 bikes there and a good number of cars. The crowd was huge. You had to stand in line and wait to view any cars. Seen were a ton of 'Vettes muscle cars an a gazillion Camaros. Hardly any rods.

Some things never change.

We chose to leave at peak parking ticket time, which was the right time to go.

Later that evening Brad and myself re-visited our early youth as we pushed "TurnOver" into a Shell station at about midnight in Lexington.

"Hey, does that gas gauge seem kinda low to you?"
"Nah, it's ok , I just gotta hook up one wire on it someday."

Like I said, something's never change.
